Who Doesn’t Like To Receive A Gift?
It’s always fun to receive a gift. I don’t think there is anyone who hates to receive gifts (except for “The Grinch“).
I asked my 7 year old son and my 3.5 year old daughter, why do you like to receive a gift?
And they answered thus:
Son: “Because it’s gratifying to know that someone has thought of you.”
Son: “It cost them money so it means they love us.”
Son: “Because it’s fun to open the gift and see what’s inside.”
Daughter: “Grandma is a flower.” 🙂

How To Adjust The Size Of The Cover To The Size Of The Gift?
The size of the wrapping paper in most cases is 50 cm by 70 cm. This should suffice even for large gifts.
But to be sure, it is advisable to check the size of the gift in relation to the size of the wrapping paper.
W – Indicates the width of the gift.
L -Indicates the length of the gift.
H – Indicates the height of the gift.
A – Marks the length of the first side of the cover.
B – Marks the length of the second side of the cover.
Place your measurements in the formula and make sure that the size of your gift fits in relation to the wrapper. If both equations hold it means the wrapper fits:
L + H < A
W + W + H + H < B
Here is an example:
Suppose the size of the wrapping paper is 50 by 70 cm. And suppose the size of the gift is 15 on 15 on 10 as follows:
W = 15, L = 20, H = 10, A = 50, B = 70
L + H = 30 < 50
W + W + H + H = 50 < B
Both formulas are met so it means the cover size matches the size of the gift.
